Christmas Season...

Everyone is talking about the economic crisis that the world is facing now. However, I feel that all the more at this time of year, it is important to remind ourselves what is truly the meaning of Christmas. Christmas is always a time of giving, forgiving, rejoycing and starting things anew. We always focus on what is wrong and bad but no one focuses on what is good and right in this world of ours. We should all be thankful that we have our loved ones, good friends, our health and the ability to enjoy the time we have with family. Christmas should be a time for celebrations, be it big or small. I know it sounds silly especially to people who may have lost their jobs or family members. However, I think you do need to have something in your life that makes you happy and that you can be thankful for. That should always be celebrated as you may never know what may come.

Cheers

Chinese New Year Goodies....

I have been rather busy since the beginning of this year so have not been really active in my blog. Decided to help my mum make some chinese new year goodies. It has been a tradition for awhile now and this year is not different so I thought I would lend a hand. Today we did Kueh Bangkit as well as Coconut Cookies. It turn out pretty good actually with all the effort that was put into it. We managed to get about 250 Kueh Bangkits and the same for Coconut Cookies too.
